That was not a typo people, despite the hip-hop mogul Jay-Z owning a minority stake in the New Jersey Nets, he is offering to sit with you at a New York Knicks game. Jay-Z is auctioning off two courtside seats to an upcoming New York Knicks game. The deal is much sweeter now than a month ago with the addition of Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups.
So how do you get tickets? Jay-Z is auctioning off this once in a lifetime experience for a great cause, the Stephen Gaynor School in New York City, which helps children with learning disabilities reach their full potential.
The bidding started Monday at noon and is currently at $16,000; bids are accepted in $250 increments. The auction runs through March 30th and is open to the general public.
So if you’ve got a smooth $20,000 to blow on basketball then go here to place your bid. Then you can ask Hov, “How’s that payin’ Dwyane Wade idea is going?”
